From Athabasca to Victoria

What a drastic change from a small rural town in Northern Alberta to the island city of Victoria. I have only spent four days in Victoria but already I feel liberated and grounded about political ideologies, lifestyles, and people. There is nothing conservative about this town that I have found. I find it a place that embraces lesbians, the arts, the granola, and eviromental beauty. I may need to consider a five year plan to move myself out here and leave the conservative, red neck, neighborhood that I have grown up to know.
