It feels like my world has turned a 180 since being home. All the memories have rushed through me in the last week and I'm ready to go back (In a year)!

This Time and This Place

Before I describe what the world has shown me during my transit home, you should read the story about the Khmer Rouge by clicking here. There are 5 pages to go through and once you read it, then I'll be sending my thoughts and pictures in my next blog.
There is something so unique about Cambodia and everyday I've been asked, "How was your trip?" My only fair response is, "Cambodia was an experience." Those who are genuinely interested, will listen to the honesty, those who aren't, say, "but, you had a good time, righ?"
Yes, I had a good time. I liked it there better than here. However, I sometimes feel like I'm talking to myself and that no one can really hear my answer. As humans, we choose what we want to hear...even if the information is so real and true. I have learned not to pass judgment on myself or on anyone. We all have a background, a story, an experience and for some, more than others. In our present time, in the moment of now, we are who we are. It is as it is. We are always growing, the key is to be aware - to be intuitive to yourself and your needs, to others and their needs, and to the needs for a global community.
Peace

Love and Pictures

I've arrived safe and sound, back into Calgary after only a 36 hour journey home. I think it will take a couple of days before these last couple of months sets in, but for now, I'm just grateful to be with family and to be healthy.

Pictures
I'll have a full page up and loaded with images soon, but here are some teasers until then.

Love
I have mentioned Jacquie a few times in my blog as the person I've been traveling with and she has also become a caring, loving person close to my heart. She had this beautiful quote:

"What if you've found someone who is everything to
you: your best friend, your companion, your lover, your partner; and
with whom you have such a deep and timeless connection that no matter
what you can think of that would piss you off the most, that person
could do that and you would still love that person for everything they
are and are becoming...you would want to cover them in kisses and wrap
them in warmth because they felt comfortable enough to show you that
part of them and you learn from that experience together and move on
to the next lesson...always learning, always sharing, always honest
and true. THAT would be the truest love of all, that
would be essentially, LOVE. I found that." - Jacquie Boisvert

I'm sure you'll hear about details in the near future so for now you can enjoy her entries as she continues in Cambodia, returning to Canada at the end of this month.
